Postcode Local Trust Boost!

Postcode Local Trust is a grant-giving charity funded entirely by players of People’s Postcode Lottery. Our project received £12,000 from the Trust to support the development of a small community garden in collaboration with community members and for the benefit of all who use the Project. Outcomes will include facilitated learning opportunities for our Wee STARs toddler group, nurturing experiences, and maximising income and reducing food poverty by growing small food items. This project will complement our existing work to tackle poverty such as our breakfast clubs and our soon to be launched community fridge.

The newly developed Paisley Men’s Shed will play a pivotal role in the development of the Community Garden. The aim of this group is to provide a space for men from across Renfrewshire to meet, talk, exchange and learn new skills.
